[UPDATE] Rector’s regulation on the rules of exemption from collecting some financial claims and liabilities from students, doctoral candidates and contractors of the SGH Warsaw School of Economics, suspension and remission thereof due to the state of epidemic threat of the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2
Rector’s order on the changes in organization of classes at SGH Warsaw School of Economics during the time of class suspension introduced to prevent the spread of SARS-CoV-2 virus causing COVID-19 disease.
Due to the epidemic caused by coronavirus disease SARS-CoV-2, the World Health Organization has declared a state of public health threat at a global level. Pursuant to the Rector’s Order of 10 March 2020 all travels of SGH employees and students to countries listed in the announcement by the Polish Chief Sanitary Inspectorate (GIS) are suspended until further notice. We also recommend cancelling private trips.
The rector announces cancellation of classes on March 11 and 12, 2020
Due to the epidemic caused by coronavirus disease SARS-CoV-2, the World Health Organization has declared a state of public health threat at a global level. Pursuant to the Rector’s Order of 26 February 2020 all travels of SGH employees and students to countries listed in the announcement by the Polish Chief Sanitary Inspectorate (GIS) are suspended until further notice. We also recommend cancelling private trips.
Furthermore, according to the Rector’s Order, it is highly recommended that the participants of various forms of study who visited the countries listed below during the winter break of the 2019/2020 academic year or later remain at their place of residence for the period of 14 days following their return. The absences in class in this period will be excused based on submitted travel documentation.

The results are in and there can be no doubt that SGH is the best economic university in Poland, according to the newest ranking by a prominent Polish journal “Rzeczpospolita”. The second and the third place on the podium went to economic universities in Poznań and Katowice, respectively. Among the non-economic institutions, the University of Warsaw ranked the highest.

On October 28, The Financial Times published the „Masters In Management” ranking. Two programmes offered by SGH were once again named among the world’s top 100 programmes. CEMS Master In Management, which is co-administered by SGH – the only Polish economic university allied within CEMS – moved up to the 8th place. The other SGH’s Management programme was ranked at the 58th spot.
SGH Library is open in reduced hours between 1st July and 16th September. Regular opening hours will be resumed from 17th September
